the viewer is not aware of the editing because so much is happening on screen i.e action thrillers ,although we know what editing is but we get carried away with the story and get into the film

Jump cut is an editing technique that was originaly avoided by directors but then later on seen as a very affective technique , it gives the director the power

Putting different shots with eachother without it telling a story but having some sort of link , making the audience think.
C. Watch ‘Playing with Time’ – watch the film ‘The Gloaming’. Write a short evaluation of the editing used in this film. Refer to detailed examples from the film and use the terminology you have learnt today.
